Bay Houses Make a Comeback in Freeport and LI Traditions Takes Members on a Special Tour

After Superstorm Sandy, battered bay houses make a comeback in Freeport.

Before Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island, there were nearly 40 bay houses in Freeport; now, there are only 14. Some of these homes have been rebuilt, and several others are planning on building brand new homes where they used to be.

We take a special boat ride tour through the area and meet some of the owners in their bay houses.
